Location: Pennsylvania

Bio:
Dustin Thomas Pangonis was been with 2Walls since before
2Walls even existed in such a form. Before the site as
you know it today was launched, Michael Walls ran a little
site called "Armchair Reviews," which, as the
name hints, simply posted reviews (CD reviews, to be more
specific) by a bunch of people, most of which had no real
qualifications to be criticizing anything. Pretty much
anything was accepted, leading to a huge amount of reviews,
and an only slightly less-huge amount of lousy ones. Dustin
submitted two reviews to the site, and when Armchair Reviews
was closed to make way for the more expansive and professional
2Walls site, Mr. Walls dropped him a line asking him to
join the staff.
With
enormous talent matched only by an incredibly lazy attitude,
you would never guess by the amount of his work on the
site that Dustin has been submitting his stuff for so
long. (Key example: This biography is being written a
good two years into his tenure.) But what he lacks in
quantity, Dustin also lacks in variety: he's submitted
everything from Beck CD reviews to Radiohead CD reviews.
Still, he must be doing something right, as he hasn't
been fired. Yet.
Dustin
does take some pride in the fact that he wasn't truly
"qualified" for the "armchair" part
of the title, as he is both a musician and writer. He
is enrolled at Penn State to study journalism, and can
play guitar, bass, and keyboard. He's been an avid music
fan since hearing Nirvana in junior high, and been writing
in some form or another since he began school, entering
kindergarten a literate man.
And,
of course, for the information age kids who just want
a bulleted list, here are some of my favorite things,
completely out of order and uncategorized: Elliott Smith,
Fyodor Dostoevsky, Wes Anderson, Gouda, winter, Radiohead,
Modest Mouse, J.D. Salinger, the Royal Tenenbaums, Bill
Murray, Quentin Tarrantino, the Pixies, mint chocolate
chip, Coca-Cola, Franz Kafka, 1984, Donatello.
